The 10 Coolest Affiliate Marketing Podcasts You Should Plug Into

What do podcasts and affiliate marketing have in common?

Both are fairly young industries that have gained momentum at an incredibly fast rate.

Did you know that there are now more podcast listeners in America than there are Catholics?

There are lots of Catholics, so that’s a lot of listeners!

In fact, 67 million Americans listen to podcasts on a monthly basis, and 42 million Americans listen to one or more on a weekly basis.

That huge number proves their sheer popularity.

Most podcasts are popular for delivering trustworthy information and smart discussion, but of course, not all podcasts are reliable resources. The truly good ones stand out from the pack and can be valuable learning tools on a wide variety of topics.

Affiliate marketing is one topic for which there’s no shortage of podcasts—but you really only want to listen to the most well-developed podcasts created by industry experts.

We’ve put together a list of the top 10 podcasts that we believe are chock-full of worthwhile information for the beginner and expert affiliate marketer inside us all.

The 10 Coolest Affiliate Marketing Podcasts

1. PNR: This Old Marketing

PNR: This Old Marketing is put on by Joe Pulizzi and Robert Rose, who are both known as experts throughout the affiliate marketing world. Together, the two hosts make a potentially dry subject extremely entertaining.

Throughout each episode, listeners can expect to hear three or four newsworthy stories about recent happenings in the affiliate marketing industry.

You’ll even get little snippets of information from affiliate marketing history in each episode!

The show airs every Saturday morning and runs for 60 minutes.

2. The Solopreneur Hour

The Solopreneur Hour follows an interview format as it focuses on what are thought to be “unemployable” skills of each interviewee. Host Michael O’Neal helps people flip those skills into viable business ideas.

This podcast isn’t industry-specific, as it focuses on a new interviewee each episode. All different industries are covered.

If you’re someone who has always wanted to start a business, but you’re having trouble focusing on your skills, this show will help you think of them in a new light.

Michael O’Neal is somewhat new to the affiliate marketing world—only four years in—but has been very successful so far. His passion for the subject is contagious. It won’t take long for you to catch on!

3. Affiliate Buzz

Affiliate Buzz is the head honcho of affiliate marketing. Why? It has the longest running time ever for an affiliate marketing podcast. Originally airing in 2003, Affiliate Buzz hopes to make their listeners smarter marketers with each episode.

James and Arlene Martell are leading experts in the field and have tons of hard-earned knowledge to share with their listeners. The two hosts are always trying out new ways to reach larger audiences and get their knowledge out there. They even run an affiliate marketing boot camp and “coffee talk” alongside their podcast.

Affiliate Buzz covers everything there is to know about affiliate marketing and passive income, and the information comes straight from the source.

4. Rise of the Entrepreneur

Rise of the Entrepreneur stays true to its name, giving fresh, informative interviews from a different entrepreneur from around the world during each episode.

The expert, Zac Johnson, has been in the business for about ten years (which makes him an OG in this young industry). He has made millions online, and now he wants to teach others to do the same.

You can catch this show every Tuesday and Thursday.

5. The Smart Passive Income

The Smart Passive Income podcast covers a huge variety of topics related to affiliate marketing, including outsourcing, using marketing automation, search engine optimization best practices, how to build brand authority and trust with your target audience, using social media in affiliate marketing and much more.

Pat Flynn, host extraordinaire, believes his ability to support his family using only passive income is a testament to his authority on the subject. And I agree!

He makes a six-figure annual salary working only a few hours each week, and he shares his income reports with his readers online.  Flynn also runs his own affiliate marketing blog, which is well worth a read.

6. Entrepreneur on Fire

Entrepreneur on Fire was awarded the title of “Best of iTunes” for its daily—yes, seven days a week—interview-format show.

It has over 2,500 iTunes ratings (that’s a huge number) with a 5/5 average.

John Lee Dumas is the Puerto Rico-based American entrepreneur and author who runs the highly appreciated podcast. Dumas generates seven figures every year—much of it from Entrepreneur on Fire—and he’s committed to showing all of those figures on his website monthly.

Transparency is what Dumas is all about. Each episode, he interviews a different successful affiliate marketing entrepreneur to get the inside scoop.

7. The Side Hustle Show

The Side Hustle Show is unique because it’s really geared toward those who aren’t ready or willing to make affiliate marketing their full-time gig.

If you’re someone just looking to make some passive income alongside your current job, this is the ideal podcast for you. It’s also great for people who are considering a career in affiliate marketing but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge.

Host Nick Loper uses his platform to discuss his own successes and failures, while also interviewing other entrepreneurs each episode.

The show focuses on teaching listeners about four main subjects: how to earn more money, how to pay off debt, how to learn new skills and how to use their free time more productively.

8. Marketing Secrets

Marketing Secrets says its goal is to answer the question, “How are entrepreneurs like us, who didn’t cheat and take on venture capital, who are spending money from our own wallets, how do we market in a way that lets us get our products and services and things that we believe in out to the world… and yet still remain profitable?” each episode.

Each episode, host Richard Brunson strives to answer that question by sharing a different “secret” with listeners based on his own experience in marketing.

9. Online Marketing Made Easy

Online Marketing Made Easy is one of iTunes’ top-rated podcasts and for good reason.

Amy Porterfield interviews industry experts and gives her own secrets to success.

Her goal is to be deliberate about what her listeners hear. She wants to make everything in her podcast “actionable” and “profitable.”

Porterfield is motivated by her own growth and success. Earlier in her career, she was feeling overworked and overwhelmed in the corporate field. Now, she’s sharing the steps she took to earn multiple seven figure incomes and live her life to the fullest at the same time.

10. The Art of Paid Traffic

The Art of Paid Traffic aims to give listeners the very best tips and tricks for generating income on “autopilot”

Rick Mulready is the host and expert of this podcast, teaching listeners the importance of marketing automation through leads and sales. He consults with top experts on air each episode as well.

Mulready is a Facebook Ads expert and is all about paid traffic. He talks everything ads, ad copy, native advertising, analytics, banners and more on his podcast.
