RevenueWire Review: 7 Things That Hardcore Software Affiliates Should Know

Calling all software and technology publishers!

People say it isn’t nice to play favorites, but the RevenueWire affiliate network disagrees.

In fact, you’re their favorite.

They’ve designed their affiliate network to meet the needs of affiliates in your niche, so there’s a good chance they’ll be your favorite too.

Why? This tech-focused affiliate network boasts a pretty impressive repertoire, including 10 years in the business, hundreds of millions in total payout value and about one billion conversions so far.

Keep reading to find out more of what RevenueWire has to offer, as well as a few of the network’s minor shortcomings that you’ll want to be aware of.

RevenueWire Review: 7 Things That Hardcore Software Affiliates Should Know

1. Signing Up Is a Cinch

Affiliate networks and advertisers both have a common goal. They want publishers to want to work with them.

As a publisher, this goal obviously works in your favor. Most networks make it as easy as possible for publishers to sign up with them, and RevenueWire is no exception.

Signing up as a publisher with RevenueWire is quick and easy. As soon as you complete the online publisher application, you can immediately start working with RevenueWire. As an added bonus, this affiliate network is always free to publishers.

As a publisher with RevenueWire, you can work with advertisers like Uber, McAfee, IAC, SecureVPN, MacBooster and more.

Better yet, the truest sign of a techy affiliate network: The interface can be easily downloaded onto your computer and mobile devices for on-the-go tracking and monitoring.

2. Very High Payouts

RevenueWire advertises itself as the “network for your next seven-figure campaign,” and they aren’t kidding. This network is known throughout the affiliate marketing world for its killer payouts.

How good are they, you ask?

Well, the average commission rate is 75 percent, that’s right, 75. That’s extremely high. Plus, the average conversion rate levels out at about 3 percent.

Payouts are made to publishers twice per month, on the 15th and last of the month, which is another plus for RevenueWire. A twice monthly payout is great compared with many other networks that only make payments to publishers monthly or even every 60 days.

Payouts can be made by PayPal, check, wire or ACH direct deposit.

In other words, RevenueWire’s payout system is pretty much king in the affiliate world.

3. Huge Range of Verticals

The opportunities for verticals that can be promoted using RevenueWire are just about endless. Furthermore, many verticals that are untapped by other affiliate networks are popular within RevenueWire.

Some of the most popular verticals promoted through RevenueWire include:

  • Downloadable Software (this is what really sets the network apart from others)
  • Insurance
  • Finance
  • Warranties
  • Gaming
  • Health
  • Fitness
  • Dating
  • E-commerce
  • Security

This network is ideal for technology and software publishers, but its reach and potential don’t end there.

If you’re unsure of whether or not your vertical will be the right fit for RevenueWire, do some easy research. Simply check out which advertisers they work with before signing up. Are there advertisers on the list that you’re interested in working with?

If you answered yes to that question, then I have even better news for you. RevenueWire supports several different payout models, including CPC, CPI, CPL, CPS and rev share.

As a Canadian network, RevenueWire offers some international partnerships that many other networks do not. Again, checking out their advertisers ahead of time can help you determine whether the international partnerships apply to your preferred vertical. If you find that they do, then RevenueWire’s international relationships can majorly expand your limits of sales as a publisher.

4. Full Service but Limited Flexibility

The perfection had to end somewhere, right? While RevenueWire offers a wide range of verticals, its interface does not offer the same kind of flexibility. Simply put, this network is considered to be a full-service network.

A full-service affiliate network means that there isn’t much room for customization for both publisher and advertiser. Publishers have little control over what gets advertised, and advertisers have little control over where products are advertised.

However, on the flip side, much of the hard work and effort that goes into creating customization is already done for you by this network.

The flexibility verdict? It depends on who you are. If you’re a hands-on type of publisher, RevenueWire might not be the best network for you. However, if you don’t mind having very little control over what’s advertised, this network could be just the right fit!

5. Gets Right to Business

RevenueWire is a no-fuss, no-frills type of affiliate network. It’s perfect for any publisher that wants to get right to business and does not need a fancy interface to impress them. Why? Because this network’s interface is just about as basic and simple as it gets.

Interestingly, RevenueWire isn’t simple by mistake. No, this network is as simple as it is on purpose. In fact, it has been updated several times with the goal of making it as simple to use as possible.

If you want a basic, reliable and high-tech type of network with no drama or confusion, RevenueWire is for you.

As far as high-tech networks go, this one is particularly great for beginners because of simplicity, designated account managers and available training seminars.

6. Top-of-the-line Technology

If you’re confused about how a network can be both uber-simple and technologically advanced, you’re not alone. The following examples will clear things right up!

RevenueWire created and operates their own personal payment processing system called “SafeCart.” SafeCart is so efficient and has such a positive reputation that it’s now used by several companies other than just RevenueWire.

Aside from SafeCart, RevenueWire also offers extremely accurate sales referral tracking and analytics tools. These tools were specifically created with the goal of simplifying digital product promotion for publishers in mind.

Tracking data is shared with both the publisher and the advertiser in real-time (that’s right!) using RevenueWire’s killer data analytics tools.

7. Great Customer Service

Customer service is one of those affiliate network factors that can either be extremely impressive or extremely disappointing, there’s no real middle ground.

To be honest, more often than not, affiliate network customer service is pretty disappointing.

RevenueWire’s customer service, however, is probably its number one best trait.

Account managers are individually assigned to each client personally, and they’re ready and willing to help by phone during business hours. There’s 24/7 online support to boot. Having your own account manager is a rarity as a publisher and a great feature for beginners in the industry.

Plus, training seminars are also available for RevenueWire and affiliate marketing beginners, developed to lead you through the whole process, step by step.

As a full-service affiliate network, the RevenueWire service team takes care of everything from payments to tracking and everything in between, allowing you to be more productive.

Whew! That was a bit of a whirlwind. To recap RevenueWire’s positive attributes, of which there are many, this network covers all of the basics and offers what I would consider the best customer service that an affiliate network can provide.

That being said, this affiliate network can be a bit polarizing.

While RevenueWire is an absolutely perfect fit for the beginner or hands-off software and technology publisher who prefers everything to be done for them, it might be completely wrong for the hands-on publisher—and of course, it’s not right for the affiliate in a vertical totally unrelated to tech.

The benefit of a polarizing network?

For those who do find RevenueWire to be the right fit, it’s going to be a match made in heaven.
