Lose SEO when customizing your Google+ profile URL

Last week Google+ announced that any profile with more than 10 followers can choose a custom SEO friendly URL.

Example:
https://plus.google.com/117861411066982964155
turns into (302 Redirect):
https://plus.google.com/+RazvanGirmacea

While this is great from a user perspective, because it is easier to remember, keep in mind that if you already have a strong profile, with lots of people that link to your page and you have some good outgoing links to your website, you will lose all that power because:

Chosing a custom Google+ URl will make your old link 302 Temporary Redirect to your new link, so, in theory,  you will lose all your current PageRank power of your profile.
